There was the usual noise and uproar about personal conflicts. That the success of that program became the blueprint copied by other banking competitors in hiring and training future banking officers became obvious. I am proud to say that I was one of the “guinea pigs” of that bank officer transition program.
Today, major banks are closing local branches in their communities and some of the major mortgage correspondent banks are giving up wholesale lending as non-traditional lenders beef up their market share.
